Gerry & William have reached Penrith safely and are still able to walk. The day has gone well with some fantastic scenery along the way. Its been very hilly with a head wind but nothing the duo couldn't cope with.
Slight deviation from the planned route as they started from Whitehaven which added 7 miles to the challenge. They have cycled a fantastic 53 miles today and are now ready for a hot shower and good meal before a good nights sleep in preparation for day 2.
